Trumps Reserve the Whole Floor Of $27,000-A-Night in London And Rent $1M Limousine During Their Visit to Europe

The Trump family has received immense backlash for their exorbitant spending whilst on their European tour.
United States President Donald Trump made his first state visit to the United Kingdom last week. He was joined by his wife First Lady Melania Trump as well as four of his five children (the latter of which is generally not considered White House protocol). While the First Couple spent their stay at Winfield House, the United States Ambassador’s official residence in Regent’s Park, London, the rest of his family and the President's entourage chose to stay at the lavish, five-star Corinthia Hotel in Westminster. The hotel is favored by oligarchs and A-list celebrities. One room per night at the hotel will set you back about $27,000, but the Trump family booked out an entire floor, reports the Daily Mail. It is unclear whether American citizens paid for the stay with their tax dollars.

President Trump's children, Donald Junior, 41, Ivanka, 37, Eric, 35, and Tiffany, 25, were all booked into the Corinthia Hotel. The royal-suite penthouse at the hotel boasts four bedrooms, a dining room that seats ten individuals, a full-sized bar stocked with champagne, and a bathroom outfitted with marble and onyx surfaces. The Trump family is known for their glamorous and exuberant lifestyles, which makes their choice of accommodation quite expected.

Along with these features, the Corinthia Hotel has its own branch of world-famous department store Harrods, and a giant spa spread over four floors where the Trump family can "treat" themselves to a spa procedure known as "The Jet Lag Reviver" — a $280 treatment that includes a revitalizing scalp massage and rejuvenating body exfoliation regimen aimed at busy travelers. Should the Trumps wish to break a sweat, the penthouse suite even comes with an elite personal trainer who has previously worked with some of Hollywood's biggest celebrities such as actresses Margot Robbie and Claudia Schiffer.

As per the Daily Mail's sources, the Trumps booked out the entire floor for security purposes. It is unclear whether there will be enough people in the President's entourage to fill out all the rooms that were booked. With regard to this, the hotel was unable to confirm any information about the Trump family's stay. According to a statement from a spokesman for the Corinthia Hotel, "As you can appreciate, we do not comment on guest bookings."

As one can expect, the Trumps' decision to book such a lavish hotel has been heavily criticized by individuals across the world. While other past Presidents have always followed protocol and resided at the United States Ambassador’s official residence, the Trump family will be one of the first to break White House procedures. TheMominatrixx posted: Why are American taxpayers footing the bill for Trump’s ADULT, independently wealthy kids to go on vacation? NONE of them have “official” roles in the #TrumpSwamp administration, yet they always show up to sponge off the public dime for fancy trips and photo ops. Chuckyoutwo added: Who's paying for it? Why are they on this trip? How many more Secret Services agents had to go because of them? How much are we paying for them? All these f*cking people do is cost us money.

Unfortunately, President Trump's rather extravagant expenditures do not end there. During his visit to Ireland, he allegedly rented limousine services from an Irish funeral home costing $935,033, reports The Guardian. The President rented out four vehicles from the company, which would add up to about $233,748 per vehicle. As the First Couple continues to jet set around the world, their exorbitant spends remain under scrutiny.
